Here's a list of popular questions that aren't covered in the other sections of the site. Have a question that I haven't answered anywhere? Email me, and I'll add it to this list.

Q: I need 50 actions to get my level 1 HQ. What are actions?A: Almost everything you can do in netro is an action. Taking over, bombing, building, changing stock, changing buildings, selling, withdrawing, putting out fires, adding security, repairing, demolishing, etc, etc.. basically everything that costs money, or involves money is an action (except transfers). Everything that shows up in the events page is an action (except HQ fire outs). Only the actions you do count towards your headquarters, not the actions that others have done to you.

Q: I want to transfer 50k to someone, I have 50k in my bank, but the bank says I don't have enough to make the transfer. What's wrong?

A: The bank charges a 5% fee on all money transfers. You need £52500 to transfer £50000.

Q: How do you stop security?

A: You can't stop security. When you see "security stopped" in your events this means that someone tried to attack one of your buildings, but your security stopped them. On a side note, some weapons can avoid security, but they won't "stop" it.

Q: How long is a "month?"

A: A month of netro time is about 10 minutes of real time.

Q: How come I don't seem to make very much money overnight?

A: The netropolis government will tax your profits heavily if you are not logged in. You will make about 10 times more money when you logged in and playing (as opposed to logged out and sleeping. ;)

Q: Is owning multiple accounts against the rules?

A: Yes, but there are some people have strong feelings against this. Despite those people, if you play the game long enough you'll find that they are virtually a necessity if you want to compete in the higher levels of the game.
